How do bookmarks work?
Bookmarks allow you to quickly mark and revisit specific content pieces inside a feed. This guide explains how bookmarking works in Skimmr and how to view bookmarked items.
Adding a bookmark
To bookmark a content piece, click the star icon on the item.
When the star is highlighted, the content piece is saved as a bookmark.
How bookmarks work
Bookmarks are shared across the entire account.
This means that when you bookmark a content piece, all users within the same account will see that item marked as bookmarked. Likewise, bookmarks added by others will also appear for you.
Filtering for bookmarked items
You can filter a feed to show only bookmarked content pieces:
Click the star icon at the top of the desired feed list.
The view will update to display only content pieces that are currently bookmarked.
Use bookmarks to highlight important items for your team and keep track of content that matters most.
How do I suggest new domains?
If you come across websites that Skimmr does not yet crawl, you can easily suggest them for inclusion.
Suggesting specific URLs
You can submit up to three URLs at a time:
Open the sidebar menu.
Select “Suggest Domains.”
Enter the URLs you would like us to consider.
Our team will review your suggestions and add the domains where possible.
Suggesting a broader category of sites
If an entire category of websites seems to be missing (such as all basketball clubs in a specific region) you can send us the details at support@skimmr.ai.
We will evaluate whether the requested set of pages can be added to our crawling coverage.
How can I sort and rearrange my feeds?
All members of a Skimmr account have access to the same set of feeds. However, each user can individually control how these feeds are arranged in their own workspace.
Changing the order of feeds
You can reorder your feeds at any time:
Drag & drop a feed to change its position in the list.
Use the three-dot menu at the top of a feed to move it directly to the far left or far right.
These changes affect only your personal view and do not impact how other team members see their feeds.
How often are feeds updated, and at what time?
During the beta phase, we are still fine-tuning how frequently different sources are crawled.
Current update frequency
At the moment, many pages are crawled once per day, typically around 11:00 CET.
New results generally appear in Skimmr within 1–2 hours, when the crawling process is completed.
Upcoming improvements
We will gradually increase crawling frequency, especially for sources that update more often.
Pages with frequent changes will move to hourly crawling to ensure faster updates in your feeds.
How do I become a Skimmr Beta tester?
Access to Skimmr during the beta phase depends on whether or not your organization uses Kordiam.
For organizations that do not use Kordiam
If your organization is not a Kordiam user, please contact us and provide a list of users who should have access to Skimmr.
We will create the account and grant access manually, as user management is not yet available within Skimmr during the beta phase.
For organizations that use Kordiam
At the moment, Skimmr user management is directly connected to Kordiam.
Access for Kordiam organizations
When an organization decides to test Skimmr, we can activate the Skimmr connection for their Kordiam account. Once enabled:
All internal Kordiam users can log in to Skimmr using the same email address and password they use for Kordiam.
Separate or external Skimmr user accounts cannot be created at this time.
Access for SSO-based accounts
For organizations that use SSO and have user profiles without passwords, we can enable a Skimmr icon inside Kordiam.
By clicking this icon, users can directly access Skimmr without needing separate login credentials.
Please note that user profiles created before SSO was enabled may still have a password associated with them. In this case, users have two options:
Log in using their email address and password, or
Contact us to have the password removed from our database, enabling SSO-only access.
